CAHSEE administration dates for 2014-15 are:

November 4 (ELA) & November 5 (Math) is for juniors and seniors who have not passed.

February 3 (ELA) & February 4 (Math) is for seniors who have not passed.

March 17 (ELA) & March 18 (Math) is for all sophomores and juniors and seniors who have not passed.

May 12 (ELA) & May 13 (Math) is make-up for absent sophomores and for any senior who has not passed

Low Cost Internet Available

If your child is eligible to participate in the National School Lunch Program, you may qualify to receive internet for $9.95 per month.

To qualify for $9.95 a month Internet service and a low-cost computer, your household must meet all these criteria:

  1. Be located where Comcast offers Internet service
  2. Have at least one child eligible to participate in the National School Lunch Program
  3. Have not subscribed to Comcast Internet service within the last 90 days
  4. Not have an overdue Comcast bill or unreturned equipment
  5. Call 1-855-8-INTERNET (1-855-846-8376) to request an application

Vote for us in the Game of the Week Poll for September 26th game versus Sheldon High.


The poll starts Wednesday, Sept. 17th, at 6:30 p.m. and will be active until Wednesday, Sept. 24th at 7:00 p.m.  

During this voting period, you can log on to to cast your vote. 


The winner of the Game of the Week poll will receive:

  • Coverage on the KCRA 3 High School Playbook show (Fridays during the 6 and 11 p.m. newscasts).  
  • Both KCRA and 107.9 The End at the game.  With KCRA 3 live from the game during the 6 p.m. show, and Del Rodgers with Chris K. on 107.9 The End. The My58 Street Team at booth during the game.
  • Thursday prior to the game, our cheerleaders may have the opportunity to appear on 107.9’s airwaves to cheer on their school during the 5 p.m. hour.

The winning game will be announced during the 6 p.m. newscast on KCRA on Wednesday, Sept. 24th!

Don’t Miss the Second Annual Prelude to the Season at MTHS

The MTHS performing arts programs present their 2nd Annual Prelude to the Season on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at 6:00 PM in the MTHS Cafeteria.  Come and enjoy an evening filled with awesome performances and tasty desserts.  Get a glimpse of an exciting season ahead with performances from band, choir, theatre and Impulse Dance Company.  Pre-sale tickets are now available for $6.  Tickets will be $8 at the door, so get your tickets early from any performing arts student or teacher.  We hope to see you there!

We will use this information as part of our continuous efforts to improve the communication tools and resources that we provide.

Senior Trip Reminders & Info

Senior Trip Reminders- Saturday 9/20


  • Arrive no later than 7:15 am at the cafeteria to get checked in, students must have their SCHOOL ID CARD !!!!


  • Students who miss the bus will NOT be refunded and money cannot be applied to another senior event


  • All bags, backpacks and persons will be checked prior to getting on the bus. There is no food or drinks allowed on the bus during the initial check-in. Lunch is included in the ticket price and will be available at the park in a special picnic pavilion.


  • Bring extra cash for souvenirs, lockers and additional snacks inside the park.


  • Dress comfortably for a day of walking, riding, and fun: forecast is 83° and partly cloudy. Suggest shoes- not sandals, sunscreen, layers and a small bag. Lockers are available in the park for a small fee ($10-$20)


  • You may bring pillows, blankets, and bags- however you will be riding school buses and space is limited. You will be able to leave stuff on the buses, but you will not have access to it during the day. Students are strongly encouraged to leave valuables at home. Any lost items are the responsibility of the student.


  • Students who fail to abide by school rules will be subject to disciplinary action, including NOT walking in the graduation ceremony and will jeopardize all senior events for the entire class.


  • Buses should arrive back at school around 8:00 pm on Saturday evening. Students getting picked up will call when the bus gets close to the school.
